Waves of Superior Spa Branding

Waves of Superior Spa is located at Surfside on Lake Superior, and is part of the Bluefin Bay Family of Resorts. It’s the only full-service destination spa on Minnesota’s Northern Shore. From brand identity, to signage, to the spa menu, to creating a full set of marketing materials, and consulting on the interior look and feel of the spa itself, Marketing that Matters helped conceive and build this brand with a “nature meets nurture” theme. Just as the spa treatments at Waves of Superior are inspired by the natural surroundings, we used those same elements as inspiration for the identity and marketing materials. We started with a soothing, soft neutral tan and light earthy green (forest) and blue (lake) in the logo and then let the photography of land and sea speak for itself.
