Ready for Rail Campaign

Marketing that Matters worked with the Business Resources Collaborative (a coalition of business leaders, business associations, nonprofits, government and developers) on the Central Corridor Light Rail Line to help small businesses prepare for, and survive, construction along the new transit line. A comprehensive outreach campaign called “Ready for Rail” armed coalition members to aggressively communicate with small businesses along the line about light rail construction plans, and the resources available them to help them prepare for and survive the construction phase. The campaign included multi-lingual printed materials, a website, and a press event to highlight how vital small business success is to provide needed services and jobs for area residents, and to attract others to the Corridor.
